-Selected for Who's Who in Education in the 2003-2004 edition and 2004-2005 edition -Recipient of two Excellence in Education Grants: one in 1999 to participate in a dinosaur dig and another in 1990 to visit three Native American reservations in New Mexico -Graduated from St. Mary's College Notre Dame, Indiana with a degree in Elementary Education. -Received a minor in English and my masters from WMU -Certified Reading Recovery instructor Greatest achievement: mother of two wonderful young men, Ryan and Brendon.

Second Grade is a very exciting time. The students learn not only about their world but about life.
